Most window companies are sales organizations that hire out the installation. We started at the other end. In 2023, Maxwell Simek and William Creech founded 314 Window & Door as the crew St. Louis roofing companies called when the windows had to be right the first time — the people on the ladder, not the people in the showroom.
That work grew. Today we install directly for homeowners across the metro while still handling window and door work for roofers, builders, and multifamily property managers — more than 1,000 completed projects later. We’re certified contractors for Andersen and Pella and install ProVia, Simonton, Waudena, Therma-Tru, and Norman, which means our recommendation depends on your home rather than on whichever brand we’re contracted to move.
